Hey Y'All. Recently bought a "73" CB750... Yeah I'm gonna chop that [email protected] Found y'alls site while trying to figure out how and where to get the best advise. Not my first bike, hell it's not my first 750 Four. Had one for a while back in the 80's. Caught a lot of grief from some of my domestic (wink, wink) friends. Other than the dirt bikes I had as a kid and the one in the 80's I have little to no knowledge of metric bikes. Well there was also a Suzuci GSX I think, and don't really remember the cc's , 650 maybe. It belonged to an AD in my squadron and he had done some serious mods to it. I only owned for about 20 days before I sold it back to him. That thing was scarry fast and I still had a lot I wanted to do before checking out and I know my levels of stupid can exceed my life expectancy if given the opprotunity. Any Way... I bought this to build on as a side project so I'm in no rush. First step is to get my knowledge up to snuff. Hell I had to look at the shift pattern to get in to nuteral so I could get it off the trailer. Ha Ha! Next is finding the the parts and making it look like something. Low and Lean. King/Queen seat, Sissy Bar...You know. HELLOOO OLD SCHOLL. Oh yeah I should mention that it runs and the odometer says just a tick over 20K. I think there still a lot of life in her. Wish me luck and I'll be bugging the sh&t out ya when I get started on it. Gotta wrap up another chop I'm just about done with first. Just thought I'd stop in and say hey.
