Hey Everybody!
I'm new here, an avid motorcycle nut but new to the chooper scene. Most of my knowledge is based on Buell and HD bikes but I have a passion for all motorcycles. I recently came across a complete 1972 CB750 that was a former custom bike with a mostly stock frame, along with the bike came what I believe to be a vintage Uncle Bunt frame based on the research I have done on the net. Anyhow....being excited about this project.....a buddy and I where sharing ideas over a few beers and we decided to dismantle the Cb and mock up the new frame. It was soon found that the NECK of the UNCLE BUNT frame was in fact different that the stock honda's so the triple trees would not mount correctly. The engine bolted right up as did the rear wheel. Does anyone have any idea what triple trees to use? I was going to use the forks I already have that where on the CB as they where 3 inches longer than stock. Any help would be great.
Thanks
