since Black Betty has ran and since ive rode (except for a buddys shadow 750, trying to figure out the loud popping on decel......loose carb intakes).....
it all started leaveing chili last year. i rounded the dogs on second and bent and gouged the shift fork. split the cases and fixed the problem. and figured i might as well paint while the heart of the beast lay asleep on the blanket in my garage. painted, wet sanded and rubbed out. then remembered the old girls clutch basket rattled when she was cold. so i put in a good clutch basket. the whole tim i had forgotten that i promised her a ported and polished head! so in late spring i start putting her back together........eager to ride! after fresh wiring and before the bars and tank go back on i went to put in new plugs. well the #2 plug always gave me a fit to start but not this time. i should of known it was bad dope. stripped that plug hole.i know she remembered what i promised her. so here i am damn near burnt out on th whole scenario. but ive almost got a head ready to go! maybe i can get her to stay running this time around.
my oldest boy angelo got his 750 on the motor stand running and painted. man is it sweet. and my youngest boy sonny was helping me in the garage last night untill damn near 3 am. jamming to pink floyd! i think maybe angelo and me almost have him talked in to buildin his own 750!
