If all goes right I'll be picking up a couple of 750A's on monday. Think we're gonna chop one and restore the other............... Wondering those
of you who are already riding them think of the auto motor. I've been trying to get my hands on one for a few years. ........So this will be a bit
new...........But I can't wait.

None, and if I did I know where it would go to. I know of someone who needs/wants one real bad and it would be a great thing to fullfill this. I think these
are very hard to find cuz they are tucked away deep, hidden, without cause

I know I love the sound of them! It may be just me but Daddyshatz has one tough sounding bad ass matic. If I can get his ass to the Roost somehow you all will
see.
"In the wind, with my mind on my money and my money on my mind"...now I just gotta get some.

i picked one up recently for $550 as a project bike still in the works, haven't had it on the road yet though too many stupid little things that were
supposed to be fixed that weren't and it slowed me down a bit. I just got it back on two wheels last night. hoping to have it ready in time so i can work
the bugs out before sturgis.

Well I took my motorcycle test on 450 auto honda. But that was many moons ago. And only rode it around for about a half hour. So don't remember
squat................ just thinking of leaving one stock and chopping one sorta bobber style with a not so scary suicide shift...........Hmmmmmmmm would that
be a pansy shift since you only hit it once and no clutch.................Ah who cares it'd look cool and be fun....And clean handle bars with no left
lever............ Got my fingers crossed I don't get buggered outta a deal.

Autos are dumb, I should know,LOLOL I'm on my fifth one. 4 bobbers and I just finished my chopper. I'd post a pic, however, I can't make the
photobucket come up as anything other than a pic. Look at my avatar. As for the "fake" suicide shift, yeah, it has its issues. It gets a little
sketchy when your haulin' ass into a hairpin corner and you go from drive down to your only other gear-LOW- and the bike gets pitched sideways with only
one hand an the bars.:-) But they are, without question, the burn out kings.

I have a 1976 Honda Matic, it is pretty sweet... pretty rare around this area, and just finished buying another yesterday. Mine has a hardtail, 18" apes,
clean bars, and brass knuckle suicide shift.... I need to tune mine, cause my buddies Yamaha XS650 as some serious pull, and mine doesn't

The xs is geared lower you'll beat him in the long run though. One of our buddies rides and xs with us and it's quick but the 750 has more top end.

...I'm in the same boat as u nag...after looking for the last few years I finally snagged a motor on the cheap ($50). Not locked up, although I did a comp
check and could only get up to 30lbs with the little stubby kicker. Also this motor is black. Anyone know if any of them came from the factor in black, or did
somebody do a paint job on it?

lumbeeNDN i could be wrong on this but i think i read somewhere that using the kick starter doesn't give you an accurate compression reading. not sure why
but like i said i think i read that somewhere while trying to learn as much as i can about the hondamatic before i tore into mine. if the starter is there you
can just hook up some jumper cables to a battery and then ground the motor and jump power to the starter to get it to turn over quickly.

i got one in a stock frame that i've been looking at for awhile... i can't wait to chop that bitch. unfortunately it's not on the high to-do list
as i've got a cx to rebuild and a car tranny to fix. nice to see there will be people to ask questions when i get around to it though!
