Solved my rough running issue.
I did all the right stuff, cam chain tensioner, valves, new plugs properly gapped, plug test, new points gapped, timing, bench sync'd the carbs
(haven't synced 'em properly yet though). Had a good spark on all 4 cylinders... but occasionally it would still run like crap, misfiring, no power.
The hot lead to the #2/3 coil had a break in it back near the chain guard, shutting down those two cylinders intermittently.
