I am a first time poster just entering the world of motorcycles again after a 16 year hiatus. Honda choppers have always interested me, particularly old school bikes. So my journey has begun with a little horse trading that scored me this "Santee frame and narrow springer, with K3 engine (stuck)" I have a ton of questions as I rampantly read through old posts. But perhaps the most pressing one is how do I go about seeing if I can unstick the motor? After some searching, it seems that pulling the plugs, pouring in some Marvel Mystery Oil (my grandfather swore by it) and letting them soak would be a good start. I guess then remove the cover to get a wrench on the crankshaft is the next step? Any advice in this process would be greatly appreciated. I do realize the potential is there that it won't be able to be freed. My goal is to complete and get this bike running and on the road as a "rat chop" on a shoestring budget to see how I like it before investing a lot of money.
Many thanks in advance.
