I had a dream that the 836 im building was in my bedroom and it was at the bottom of the bed, mounted on the engine stand. I kept getting this feeling that it
was going to fall, so I got up and checked it. Seemed fine. So I went back to sleep and suddenly woke up and new it was about to fall. I dove to the bottom
of the bed to catch it, only to land face first on the ground. I screwed up my neck and busted two of my fingers. My ring finger was twisted up a bit at the
2nd joint and now I cant open it.
Sleepwalking sucks.
On the bright side, I did get my cylinders on before I went to bed and I'm ready to finish the engine! My older brother, who's always been interested in working on engines, cars, bikes, etc, but never had the time to tinker, came out and helped me fit the rings into the sleeves. He always said he wished he knew how to build this stuff and I said I'd help him out. So I showed him what I was doing and let him take the lead. It was probably the first time in a long while that we'd actually worked together (and gotten along at the same time). Good times. He's moving to AZ in a few weeks and now wants to build a bike. He said he wants something low, with a short wheel base. So bobber I said (For whatever that word is worth anymore). A konged frame with stock rake and he's there. I was going to give him one of my engines and get him set up, but there isnt any good way of getting it all to AZ. Hopefully he can get out to help me some more so he can catch the bug. Plus, I could really use an extra hand now that my left one is all screwed up from my midnight olympic dive. I sleepwalk pretty regularly, so look out for me at the WHCM hahaha.
