Ok, it seems to me that in race cars and such, you want the exhaust just long enough to get to where the pipes start to cool off, is it the same for bikes? The
pipes I made for mine go all the way to the back of the back tire, I noticed the other day in the rain that the last foot or so doesn't get that hot, not
hot enough to dry themselves off in the rain anyway. I can put my hand on the ends of them and they aren't even hot, about the last foot anyway. I was
wondering if I cut it off right at the end of where it is hot if it would make any difference? Anyone have experience in this?
