So I have a 74 with mac drags, pods, 155 jets, electronic ignition ect...
The bike idles fine but when I take off it revs really high like its getting stuck. My throttle cable is brand new and lubed. It seems to only stop if I shift to a gear that's too high.It also does it when in neutral too. I tried spaying wd40 all over my intake boots and the idle just doesn't seem to be affected. The carbs have been synced, valves adjusted, timing set. I just cant seem to figure it out. Any ideas? would an air leak up by my exhaust spigots affect this? Are you supposed to silicone the headers?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! I am missing some prime riding time!
