Do plug chops before you make changes and only make one change at a time. Tackle the high end problem first. Most likely that will bring things back to where they should be without having to tinker with the mids and low end.

I'd rather give someone a tool than a solution. Give them an answer and they'll always expect it. Teach them how to find the answers for themselves and they will spend a lifetime learning.
