If your overflows are dripping than your floats are off and filling the cylinders with gas wich is why you are stumbling and dripping fuel and rich.

Dude....BEFORE you pull the carbs take one bowl off at a time and lift the float with your fingers to see if the fuel stops running....you have to do them one at a time unless you have 6 hands.

If it does stop running then take them off and re-check float height to 26 mm from the carb body. If they don't stop running then you need new float seats and holders. That would fix your problem.......but if your going to go that far into it you might as well get a couple cans of carb cleaner and blow and reblow and then blow some more of it through every passage my guess is something is either stuck in a float seat or your floats are just off enough or you have a float that has failed and is filling with gas.....when you have the floats off....hold them up to your ear and shake them to se if you hear gas.....also try holding them under water and move them around.....look for air bubbles. Then spray them with carb cleaner after you take them out to dispense of the water.
