My motor had been broken by the sprocket by a chain back in the 70's and had been repaired with resin along the break. And apparently some had leaked down into the oil pan. I paid a guy to rebuild my motor when I built my chop originaly. And when my cam went bad (from the two strip perch bolts that I told him about since I took the head off before I took it to him) He said he would fix the threads and go through my whole motor. Paid him a grand to to the mechanics work. I bought all the parts for 980 bucks from honda.

Well when my cam went bad I learned that the said mechanic never took off my oil pan to inspect my screen and obviously had not broken down my cases like I ask either... So hence I went through the manual myself and now I will do all my own motor work for sure. To know it's done right.
