So I was playing with the cardboard and trying some seats on for size.  I had a lepara seat that I'd purchased at a swap meet awhile ago.  It was made for a hardtail that I was going to put on a konged bike, but that didn't happen so I pulled the leather and foam off and tried that on for size after flattening it out.  The width kind of covers the sides but it doesn't seem long enough to me.  I don't think I've seen seats covering the sides often in other builds.  I feel it would need some modifications or a piece added on.

I'm nervous about extending the seat onto the fiberglass fender.  I'm afraid of someone sitting on it and damaging it.

Then I tried what one would look like if it matched the frame size.  This seems a little weird and doesn't flow very well.  It looks like a top hat on Charlie Chaplin.  307b4ae3964b4f5da4f2a7213dab6ed9_r.jpg

last one was to fill the space again but a lower profile.
