Well, I had further communication with the seller, and I was expecting him to tell me to shove off, but this is what I got:

Dear buyandsellllc,

Good morning to you!

Thanks for your reply.

I did some ore research, and I spoke with some Honda CB750 Guru's in the chopper world, and they all concur, that is NOT a CB750. The engine is too small. there is no oil tank (the CB750 needed and external oil tank), the heads are those that belong on a CB350.

You have a CB350.

Your a high rated seller. I would hate to see you get burned on a questionable description given to you from someone else, even if he is a competent mechanic.

I have heard some horror stories of sellers that got burned because of description issues being challenged within ebay/paypal, and you could lose your money and the chopper, and wind up being screwed over twice.

I am by no means an ebay expert, but you may wanna contact the highest bidder and tell him whet you just uncovered (CB350, not CB750). Maybe he would be ok with it still. Maybe he would bow out. But it would suck if you got a bad hit this way.

His response:

Dear praisecaster,

I can't tell you how much I appreciate this. I am going to contact the high bidder and do exactly what you said. I will not ship the chopper until I have clear communication and send many more pictures to the buyer to determine if they still want this item. It's very possible you have saved me many headaches and also a ton of money.

Thank you and take good care.

Bill
