They manufactured somewhere around 200 Crockers and less than 70 of them are known to exist. Seven or eight years ago, someone had a used Crocker engine for sale at the AMCA fall nationals at Davenport, IA. for $42,000, and I don't think that it sold either.

A fully restored Crocker might bring $200,000 at auction.

In a civilized country, wild animals only continue to exist at all when preserved by sportsmen. The excellent people who protest against all hunting are ignorant of the fact that in reality the genuine sportsman is by all odds the most important factor in keeping wild creatures from total extermination.
