Yup....you have to sacrifice a deep well socket though.....I used a large c-clamp, and a deep well socket with a slot cut in it...the moveable spining part of the c-clamp rests on the large end of the valve(cyclinder side)...while the sloted socket is pressed against the springed end as it compersses I used a nedel nose to remove the 2 small keepers (thru the slot)and then released the clamp...beforehand I tac welded the socket to the stationary part of the c-clamp so so it wouldn't slip out. and the size of the socket has to be close to the spring dia.
