Slick, I appreciate that, and it never would of happened had I not got punched in the face. I was kicked in the nuts and hit and kicked everywhere else, didn't phase me a bit. I blacked when my nose wwas the target and it was an open handed slap. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't justified, and it was wrong, and have regretted it fully. First time it ever happened and definitely the last. I almost lost my family over it and have never felt lower in my life. The first time I was ever arrested, and trust me 14 hrs in the county was enough for. My lifetime. We joke and kid each other about it now lol. I definitely learned a lot about both myself and the law. I was remorseful from the moment it happened, not because I was about to be arrested, but because I hurt the woman I love unintentionally. What's irritating about the whole situation is, I know guys that have beat (and I mean beat) their women, have records, and have gotten off with nothing, charges dropped! Here I am, first offense ever, my wife testified in my behalf, and they treated me like a convicted dangerous felon! Not to mention I more than paid my dues.

My interpretation of #3 is if a firearm was used in the assault, which is how it was explained to me. Hell my guns were not even in the house! I dont know what's gonna happen but I'll keep ya posted on what my lawyer says, I plan to fight this. My guns are and will always be used for recreation and providing for my family! The shit kicker is, the state police themselves dont even understand all of the gun laws, they use them to their own interpretation, not how they are really meant!

if in doubt, KONG it!!!
