I bought that bike for a friend of mine, who backed out on the deal, so I held onto it, played with it over the summer, and then after asking Tommy if he was ok with me selling it since I had too many bikes, put it on craigslist.

Like an hour after I posted this hispanic dude calls and a couple hours later comes by and peels off hundred dollar bills.

I give him Tommy's #, HC.com, etc., and offer to help him if he has any?

About three months later he calls to ask me why gas is pouring out of a carb overflow with the petcock on. Turns out he hasn't run the bike for 3 months and I surmise it's a plugged seat valve or some such. I tell him to take the off the carbs and bring them buy and we'd clean them out. He never calls me back. I suspect he wanted me to drive the 40 miles to his place and work on he carbs in the dirt with a flashlight. A week later Buttcan tells me that the bike is on craigslist. In fact it is on craigslist 3 or 4 times.

I guess it finally sold.

When I had the bike in my paws it was kept inside & ran flawlessly. It has KZ carbs and that really made her perform sweet. I think the dude kept it outside without a cover. Anyway, that's the history.

I had it 3 months, the Hispanic dude another 3-4 months, and then this guy on Chop Cult. I don't know why he's saying that it needs a lot of work. I checked compression, which was great. Had good tires, chain & sprockets, some cool engraving (1 piece of which I just had to rip off...) and fine LRT paint.
