spoom/w660, in december of 06' you purchased from us .i dont honestly remember the situation but i assure you i was not aware you didnt get your refund.
"So I replied that I was glad I asked before buying, since I'm a guy they ripped off for $33.69 by not sending the item won or the promised refund, despite repeated contact by me. Than I told them I'd do what I could to spread the word to the SOHC community."
had you actually replied to my last email saying what is quoted above

That's what I was referring to. The only place I ever saw the dont honestly remember the situation but i assure you i was not aware you didnt get your refund.
etc. was here on the board.
You're right, my reference to "I'll contact you from home" was poorly written and in retrospect most likely implied something other than a post here.
I'm glad everybody else has been happy with Chitown, I'd think that would make me stick out like a sore thumb as the only one to ever have to try unsuccessfully to get their merchandise or a refund, despite my count of 9 emails over a 7 week period including the offial complaint procedure with eBay and another series over the retalitory feedback. And yet it doesn't even ring a bell? I'm a businessman too, and if I ever had to deal with someone like me from your vantage I'd sure remember deciding to screw somebody and then blow him off and turn it into a pissing contest Can we assume it was the former partner and I'll quit flogging the horse? I was sincere about letting it drop now that you've offered the refund & acknowledged the transaction. My offer to decline the refund isn't to try and get any last word or advantage, simply a desire to not hurt you any more than you have hurt yourself. Again, I thank you for the offer and am fine with leaving things die here. I'm doing it in public because this isn't the first time it's come up and I've been very vocal here & other places during the last year about avoiding Chitown like herpes. Seemed only fair to resolve it in public, too. Your thoughts?

(yea Java-pretty wierd timing!!)
