sam green's matic is cool as hell but too much money in it for me. i like the low cost builds from junk parts, i know i can make them work. i followed the build cause i remembered seeing a matic drag bike in a magazine many years ago, wish i kept the mag. wish i had a spare matic engine here cause i know i can build one for way less and most likely faster. not trying to sound cocky at all, i just know i can.
after AC's bike build is done, i'm gonna find another matic. once again i'm not trying to sound cocky or talk shit. i know how the internet can be sometimes LOL.

as for my white trash bike, best for the day was 13.27, tire spinning at start and clutch draging. i figured with a 4" wide flat tread, it might of hooked up but it didn't cause my front brake can't hold it back to do a burn out sad i know but thats what happen's when you try something new. you never know till you try, but it did spin alot less than with a motorcycle tire.
what i ended up doing was running up the road to warm the tire up, then jump on the track !!
now the clutch, i think i need a new cable or just a whole new setup. no matter what, it draged and other racers told me they could hear my clutch draging and they had a setup at home

oh and my engine is stock, no trick shit at all. i just tune it and beat the shit out of it !! my #2 intake valve adjuster nut kept coming loose on me and beat the crap out of the valve cover. it would happen about every 3rd run. no clue why it kept coming loose, threads were all good and everything checked out so i'm lost but not too worried about it.

You see-----I know what you meant to say and I am just messing with you now--- if I look hard enough I can usually find something bad in a post.It takes everyone some time to realize on a forum that we dont hear the voice dialog or see a facial expression and we sometimes take things to personal.
