landman; Not to be a shart*ss but with some creative ingenuity just about anything will work anywhere. Currently I'm modifying a Honda seat (of unknown origin, but it's a Honda) to my 76 cb750 hardtail. It's a full size seat that I'm cutting own the seat pan down to be a solo seat and shaping the foam to suit me. I've built my own front mounts and rear support to fit my hardtailed frame then after shaping the foam to my liking I'll be using the factory cover custom fitted to fit the new seat. I'll grant you this will not be a SHOW seat but a functional one !! This will be the second seat that I'll have built for my bike. The first being a cool seat but not having enough cushion for my little skinny *ss, this one will have more padding. By the way I'll be using the factory foam for the right feel. I'll also be adding a layer of a stretchable plastic over the foam and under the covering so as not to make the seat a large sponge ! Here is a link to the seat I'm modifying, http://www.flickr.com/photos/41094004@N07/sets/72157627209593237/ . I'll post pics of the seat when it's ready to assemble so folks can see what it the individual pieces look like before completion. Picture in your head what you want and go from there, that's what I do. Hope this helps.   ...cougar...

Hell I ain't prejudice I'll weld anything that PAYS
