I think you called it on the cold nature being the difference in the gap between jet and valve. It is more like you would have to second idle jet the the CV just to keep the idle up. But just by the Webber install and if you could hook that puppy up, I think you could almost shut that thing down it is so jet and tune-able is what I eaR about the Webbie.

Yeah, there you go. Right in the basket but odd it would return so complicated in the tank. The engine area is so much easier and you pointed out the clutch cover. Really, it is more a clearance problem than a tuning problem. Getting it right and serviceable at the same time is more engineering more or less is the hard part.
