As far as the CV... You still have that enclosed suck on the cylinder. That should be enough vacuum to start the bike. But say it is going to take a lot of gas or a few spins to move the gas from the CV to the Rajay... I mean, a few turns more say is that gap between jet and valve intake suck. I mean, once you have vacuum, that CV is in it's own environment.

You need to waste your money on a new unit with parts still available. Then make the exhaust pipes that clear the front wheel. There is the oil out of the turbo pump to be concerned about and that should be dumped back in the engine case and not the tank, (easier way to go). Then you have that modern power that blows the Rajay away. Blow up your old 750 if you miss a shift... Maybe...
