I did a compression test on "Damien." I came up with the following numberson each cylinder: 1 - 4 cm2 (60 lbs), 2 - 4 cm2 (60lbs), 3 - 0 cm2 (0lbs), 4 - 7cm2 (99lbs). I think the engine needs some serious work. Probably why the P.O. parked it. Unless I did something wrong (setup was: carbs on, pipes on, no air filters, using the kicker, testing each cylinder individully).

Did I do something wrong on my compression test? Just to check my readings, I tested my 836 that I built out and got 1 - 11 (155lbs), 2 - 7.25 (105 lbs), 3 - 9.25 (130 lbs), 4 - 10 (140 lbs). Now, I know for a fact that my head gasket is leaking between 2 & 3 on this mill, so the low numbers there don't surprise me in the least.
