A few things I learned from making springers, there are a few things to take into consideration. If it is a shallow rake (less than 38 deg) consider keeping your trees inline meaning your two rear legs in line with your neck stem. If it is over 38 deg, offset the trees up to 1.5" as it will help improve your trail. I put the front legs 1.5" in front of the rear ones and ensured my rear two holes in the rocker remain the same. The length of the rocker depends on the rake. The longer the rake, the longer the rockers can be, but be warned, the longer they are, the more bounce you will get as it makes a great lever.... I try to have the front legs and rear legs parallel to the ground to allow for the most movement of the rockers. In reference to the rockers, if the axle point if put too high above the pivot point then you will lose travel on the wheel.
