These damn trojan horse pieces of malware, are a real PIA. We got a new one on a machine at work last week called "thinkpoint" that took me a half day to remove. There are very few viruses written for mac & linux operating systems. They're not 100% virus-proof. We run all of those OS's at work though & I have yet to see a mac or linux virus.
