Well, if it's been sitting on the kick-stand for a bit... oil will naturally gravity feed a good size puddle in that chamber that will pour out upon removal... That's fine, totally normal...  once the bike is back upright and running the 'leaning puddle' with recede back into case cycling process....

But with the motor stopped, after you get the cover completely off, and pour out that settled oil puddle... that's what I meant....  With cover off, it should be 'drooling' oil out of the cross-feed hole...  not a full-on 'flow' like uncorking the drain port off the bottom of the motor....  but even if it is excessively flowing, the rotor/stator should be fine by it... but there's definitely something screwy elsewhere with the motor oiling circuit... like, entirely too much oil in the motor... i.e. pump not returning oil to the tank... or oil pump 'check' ball not stopping the oil tank from completely unloading it's reservoir into the case at dead stop... etc, etc...

Still, in short (mystery pun)...  not the problem with the charging system...  however, this normal oil saturation will accelerate an already nicked or worn-out winding in the system, but it's not the main cause....
