RK, thats a great price that you got! Cheapest one I see online is $600 plus! I only have 1 welding supply nearby and they are tough on giving any discounts. I would stop in there for friends at work to pick up consumables for them because this place carried everything and I was on the other side of Houston from my friends. I'll call around Houston to see if anyone's got one for cheap. I never see them come up used on Craigslist though.

I am thinking that less than $200 I cant get hurt too bad. If I dont like the unit, there is always Craigslist to get rid of it and the Miller will still be available. If it works good for me, I saved a bunch of dough and will be able to buy insulin and nitroglycerin for 6 months! If I decide that welding is not for me, I wont get hurt too bad neither.
