When I worked at an Exxon we had a air line out side that you could adjust the pressure by turning the handle, long time ago, lol. Any way, a guy rode in on a moped and started filling the rear tire. Now the moped had these nice plastic shock covers on it to protect you, ha. Well for some unknown reason, the guy cracked the pressure wide open, and blew the side wall out on the tire. It just happened to blow by the fancy shock covers and shattered it. When we came around the corner, he was sitting on the ground with little cuts all over his face and chest like razor blade cuts from the cover. He ended up taking a ride to the ambulance to get patched up. We ended up removing the handle and if someone wanted more pressure we would change it for them.
