Thanks for the mat'l description, RKSavior.  Yeah from frame sliders to bumpers and skid plates this stuff has proven to be pretty tough, useful and popular,  jpswino.
  Now the reason I picked this material over aluminum  is because of the rib on the intake of these two types of carbs with 40mm openings, mikuni and keihin. The stack needed to flex a bit so I slotted the face and machined a grooove on the ID which when pressed on will snap into place. The delrin costs a bit more than alumimum but for this application , will handle gasoline , the environment, and will not fade. Now $20 a piece adds up to $80 for 4 (shipped) which I think is a fair price for a well thought out product which not everyone can make in their garage. That's why I'm here. Consider me your own machine shop in your backyard so pull up a lawn chair, put on safety glasses and watch the chips fly. Again I'm not trying to get rich just came up with something I would like to share with y'all.
