Just to add a bit more...
oil comes from the oil tank, and goes DIRECTLY to the oil pump..it is then pumped through a CLOSED circuit to the various bearings, IE crank bearings etc..
there`s no way, shavings/metal that fell down into the lower end/pan, can make it to the crank bearings..
same thing with the rollers..their feed through tube like setups, that recieve their oil Via the pump..
not to mention there`s a filter in the mix...its not unusual for metal shavings to be produced, even on a new motor during break in..certainly not as intense as what this motor has probley produced, but metal shavings none the less..
