You can rake a stock frame, but be forewarned, the larger the degree of rake the longer the turning radius, which translates to good times on the freeway but harder maneuverability. Not saying don't do it, but I would definitely want someone to tell me that if I didn't know.

Konging a frame doesn't necessarily mean The degree of rake will increase. it generally has to do with making the backbone look higher, and making the seat lower.

Increasing the degree of rake can be done by cutting the underpart of the neck gusset plate upward away from the ground until there is about 1" left ( make sure about that with other dudes ) heat that little part of the neck up. pull the bottom of the neck forward until the desired degree of rake is reached. Weld in a triangular peice of metal where there should be a pizza slice looking absence. Done!

If a large Rake and front end is all you want to change about the bike, then that is all you'll need. kong the rest and youll have a nice low seat and that cool open area above the motor.

My two cents is Get a new frame with your desired specs. Look around at some of the other bikes here and learn what it is exactly you want your front end and stance of frame to be. Who knows you might want a 4 inch stretch upward or a 4 inch stretch back. If you start wanting that kind of stuff, then its better to have a framemaker build you a frame and then transfer all of your parts into the new frame. Just my 2 cents
