Frame: Whatever can accommodate the motor, a long rake, and passenger seating. I'm seeing used frames for around $500?
-$500 (CHECK)

Motor: I was told I could get a decent used CB750 mill for $300
-$300 (CHECK)

Gas tank: No preference
-$100 (Probably Cheaper)

Suspension- Long girder/springer forks ~$250
-$250 (Maybe a hair more)

Transmission- Belt drive preferred, but chain's cool too
~$300 (WHAT? It's in the motor. $300 in gas money or body shots)

Carbs
~$150 (Check, for good clean ones from Houndog)

Controls- Clutch, handlebar, brake levers, footpegs
~$350 (HUH? Stock shit...damn near, if not completely free)

Seat- King and Queen seat
~$75 (Check)

Brakes
~$? (Stock stuff...$50ish)

Wheels/Tires
~$300 (Depending on how nice you want...again, stock shit for CHEAP)

Electrical system- ignition, turn signals, headlight, turn signals, etc.
~$250
(Bargain shop brotha...ebay, bike forum...hanging around here long enough to be noted....electrics are cheap)

Keep hitting craigslist and shit. Find a stocker for cheap. I see them posted and see guys grag them up for anywhere from 100-800 bucks dependning on condition. If you get a decent enough donor, you are damn near done. Sell what you dont need to finance what you do need.

The dude wanting $50 bucks an hour to put together the parts you bought is apparently supporting some type of chemical dependency. You get all your shit togther and make a post called "hey guys....build party at my place....free beer and food". I am not re-adding that receipt for ya. But you get the drift. ; )
