Thanks for all the replies. I know its really the jetting that makes it rich, I just didnt know if those carbs wanted hotter plugs. A new set of NGK iridium plugs came with the bike, but I'm not putting in $10 plugs until its tuned. It's still running a little rich through the low speed jet, just needs to be tuned in well, but the main jet needs to go up a size or two, it sputters a little when trying to cruise the highway. At 30-40 MPH, it runs great. I set the needle jet as high as it would go, and that has cleared up most of the trouble. Oh, and the carbs, ignition, plug wires and plugs are all brand new. The wires are just care wires from the back of autozone, but are brand new. I love how these carbs look, but they have been a bastard to tune. It will come with a lot of trying I believe.

And yeah, Champions blow, but they are cheap and easy to find here. Once I think it is tuned, I'll try NGKs, and if they show it good, the iridiums will go in.
