It is possible, but it's probably more than a one man job. some people lay them on the left side with the covers off, then unbolt the motor and lift the frame off of it. I used a cable winch tied into my garage roof the last time I took one out. Kinda crude, but when there is no one nearby to help, you do what you have to do.
