I'll sum it up... My opinion, Do not use regular old jb weld or jb kwik. It will dissolve. Some said there is a jb weld for fuel - maybe but I've never seen it, their website says regular jb weld is petroleum resistant.... I beg to differ (from experience) and wouldn't try it. I have used one of the "epoxy sticks" that's made for fuel tanks and it worked great but I can't remember the brand or where I got it. No problem for the 3 years I had it on a tank and painted over. Just my $.02
