Well, what do you all say? We go for the July 20 weekend? I'm in. Java you want to map it out for all to see? It may get a few interested with a
miles/map/town layout. Lets roll. Where do we spend the night? Anyone have a suggestion? When we have a map we can adjust start/meet times. I need an hour to
get to Mount Pleasant if I need to meet the group over there (coming from Lansing) or I may choose to ride down to Roadkill or Java's place and start with
them since my ride will be shorter on the return.

I'll figure something out that makes a loop, if you want, on some roads I am familiar with that are fairly smooth, as MI goes, for those riding rigids to
enjoy also. Once I make up the loop, you can pick it up anywhere. overnight depends on the vote of the riders, I can figure something that starts early morning
too, and just make a day of it.

Anyway, there`s plenty of room for camping..also, its on a river..not a real large one..but there has been some really good size fish pulled out
recently..so if ya want, bring a fishing pole..

Java, I could do either one day or overnight so lets see what the interest is like.I like the idea of riding up to the bridge on the west side one day and coming down the east side on the second, if anyone else is up for it.

Hmmm I kinda like the chopperfest idea could register a bunch of guys and then make a large circuit that sat morning gathering guys up! Could be cool.
Meet someplace not to far and not too close and ride in as a group. I'm open, might go to this even if we don't as a group, just to get some more ideas.

74 rat where is your party at? seems like you posted this last year, maybe even the year before but i wasn't, on the board yet. went to salt river acres
but it wasn't, there.is it the old canoe livery / campground on i think mcgruder rd. a couple miles s off m 20 . east of oil city. salt river runs thru it.
can,t remember which abate or forgotten eagles but no one around here heard of any thing going on . where you guys hiding at?

LOL..I know where your talking about when you reffer to salt river..I used to go there to a bluegrass festival for many years..the place is owned by george car..(not sure on the spelling), also, I used to have a few cousins that lived in oil city..sure been a while since I`ve heard about them places.. anyway, the party last year, was about 30 miles past (north/west) of MT pleasent on M-20, about 11 miles before big rapids.. this year, it will be just east of flint about 5 miles..
He`s a pic from the place when we had a little ride a couple years ago..javahut, roadkill & VTXtony rode with us..was a nice ride..till the end when it
rained like a SOB!.LOL

yea ,i kinda grew up around there . used to live about a mile away from salt river acres. shoot me a last name ,might know them .

That's how it works, if something does not get in the way, life happens, around here too. lately my big rides have been from my house to 74Rat's, that
is it, first ride of the year is on 4th of July?!?! that's nuts , but that is how it is this year.
A week from Sat, I am going to throw my leg over the bike with what little I need and go, I will send notes out via whatever I have for you be it pm, email , phone number ,whatever, and see if you are up for it, if so cool, if not, I'm going someplace for at least the day, maybe 2, Muskegon sounds good, but then so does Mackinaw, and probably fewer personalities for me to deal with. and I better hope I have my new chain and sprokets by then, or there is no way....see, that is how it works.

ok next weekend it is. if we got over to muskegon real early ,we could hang out for awhile then do the bridge before dark. giving us some time to ride around
in the U.P. then take the huron side back down. java i have a good chain 48 tooth rear sprocket and a front sprocket still in my saddle bag from the whcm.
could put them on your bike saterday morning or i can carry them for a back up. apoc pack your shit ! no excuses.
