I'm wondering if something like clear acrylic would hurt the stickers . It might give them at least some protection if it doesn't wreck em .

Snuff .. most any 2 stage urethane is safe to use over decals ..... Unlike days of old .. when most would wrinkle them .
Build it the way you want it ..... then learn how to ride it like you own it..

1. What in hell is 2 stage WTFeveritis ?
2. How in hell do ya think I'd put it on there ? I don't have a compressor , and don't belong within 40 feet of a paint gun . I have a CAN of clear acrylic , or I could maybe find a CAN of urathane . When it come to painting , you are the house of flames . I am the house of awshit . Wait , it's only 100 miles to Grohidighasts house , think he'd notice his tins missing ??? I know the clear will ruin the particular shade of black I searched so hard to find . Kenny He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. You know the address .... I could turn it around in maybe 2 days or so ..
What I've done before .. Clear the flat black tank and decal .. Then (assuming the decal has fairly straight edges..) tape the decals off and give the tank a light dusting with flat black That way your decals have a good coat of clear to protect them ... and its flat black ..
Build it the way you want it ..... then learn how to ride it like you own it..

I was kidding about the flat black . No big attachment there , it's just allways been how I keep rust away , And after a couple years of working on it , I
intend to ride the black right off this thing .

come on Tommy I think you are older than me and I remember $19.95 a good 20 years before $29.95 for old Earl Sheib. I think he went under when pressure washer
car washes became popular you could stip the paint right off the cars with oneI washed (not like me) more than one junker car at a car wash with a earl job and
the paint would strip right off. They also lost there "Gloss" pretty fast. but if you wanted to sell a car . . .
