The Supreame Court ruled 5 to 4 for the second amendment making DC's ban (and I assume all other bans) on handguns unconstitutional. The N.R.A is having a good year. Ohio got it's castle law, we have seen victorys in Fla.and numerous other states and I just think it is about time we started taking our freedoms back instead of loosing so many. What do YOU think about Firearms in America (Total Votes: 52) - Closed I think everone should be able to choose wether or not to arm themselves. (15 / 28.8%) I think guns are ok. but we have to have restrictions on ownership. (6 / 11.5%) I think all guns should be destroyed. (0 / 0%) They will have to pry my cold dead fingers from around it to get mine. (31 / 59.6%) When Injustice becomes Law Rebellion Becomes DUTY!!

My neighbour called the Horsemen on me the other day for shooting Magpies. WTF! I've lived here for 11 yrs then all of a sudden he decides to bust my ass. Can't even shoot a gopher with a pellet gun!

HOWEVER, I'm a bit worried that some jackasses will take this to mean that all gun-control laws need to be challenged. Personally, I'm happier if the mentally ill and convicted felons can't get a gun. I don't care about a background check or some reasonable waiting period. I'm hoping (but not holding my breath) that this victory does not cause a complete loss of common sense among gun enthusiasts.

Revolver or semi. Now a full auto, that'd take a few hours to score. I personally own many guns. Some to hunt with, some for protection, some are family keepsakes and some just because I like them. The majority of gun owners don't ever have a run in with the law and taking their guns away does zero for the common good of the public because they, quite simply, are not the problem. Want to keep guns out of a felon's hands? Fine. Go after the criminals not the honest people but taking guns away from honest people does nothing to deter the gang bangers and thugs out there. simply put, "go after them and leave me the fuck alone"! Why is it that an oil painting of boobies is art and a photograph of boobies is porn?
