Kick Pedal Mod |
Lead | |

I searched but didn't find anything. Anyone have any tips for modifying the kicker pedal? I would like to have the bicycle style pedal. It doesn't look
like there's enough meat at the 90 degree bend to tap. Pics are always great.

I've never changed the pedal. I've only shortened them and that's pretty easy and once you look at a kicker, you'll easily see where to cut and
reweld.
What about cutting off the tip at the end of the kicker, removing the rubber, tapping the end of the kicker to insert a "keeper bolt" and putting some kind of pedal on there?

OKCKINGPIN had a sweet one he made but I haven't seen him in a while. If I remember right he cut his off right at the clamp and welded the rest of one
from an aftermarket one

I think that streetracer also had modified his for a brass pedal. He hasn't posted here much lately. Anyone know what's up with him?

Here is a pic of efletche's pedal.
Everything I say is fully substantiated by my own opinion.

Just did a couple of these too. Cut the original pedal or arm off Leaving the top round part of the elbow.. Just cut off what y our foot would go on. Then
drill it out for the size of the pedal stem. After you've grounc away the threads to a nice round shaft...... Cut the back side of the kick lever off at a
slight angle so when you put the pedal stem through part of it is exposed. Then weld both sides and grind smooth... Works like a charm..
