where do you find this wintergreen oil?Health stores I think. I'm assuming one of those places with all the vitamins. I wouldn't know, my skin starts to burn when getting near one. Kinda like church.

I bought it for $5 per 4 oz bottle , online from these guys , label says PreferredPlus Pharmacy, I
cook them in a small soup pot(only for this!!) from the dollar store, hrdwr screen on the bottom, and I use 4 oz oil to pot full of water and usually do
several sets at a time, all outside and I use the old burner from a Turkey cooker set real low, I DO NOT BOIL THEM, just get them hot enough so little tiny
bubbles come up, say simmer if I were cooking, leave them in 1/2 hour maybe 45 min. Take them out and rinse in clean water and put them on the shelf, stay soft
for a long time, even after being used.

actually I did see a company that offers a type of wintergreen oil specifically for doing tires...normally drag slicks though to make them nice and soft for
the strip...
