Similar set up is in progress for 77-78 top and soon as the GL top tree gets here, that will be created also. Comments and suggestions and questions welcome. I believe there's no difference in the spread of the various trees, at least when it comes to tube-spacing. It's the stem-hole that doesn't line up when mix-matching years of top & bottom trees. (I believe the later trees were made with a degree or two more rake). Of course it doesn't really matter when making the custom-(raked) trees; the raked-stem-angle will determine the holes' positions- one design should work for all sohc.
