(hoping for a good "all-round" gear ratio) anyone foresee any issues with alignment? Should I stick with a 530 chain, or get myself a 630 setup? any advice at all?

Go with the 630 chain, especially if you're going to be using a wider tire (my 2cents).

Member Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	if you need the chain to set out farthur from the tire, the later cush drive gives you 1/2" over the early ones........just use wich ever one gives you the correct clearance and keeps the chain straight.

Stuff we got, it was only the K7 that had that. I'd expect a "F" motor sprocket to line up with the offset carrier. But then again, I've got a lathe so I wouldn't care.

Using a '74 rear hub, the right and left side spacers from a '78 rear wheel and the '74 cush drive, the sprockets line up perfectly... it needs a spacer just a hair under 1/4" on the left side to make up the difference. ... just in case anyone else out there is doing the same thing.
