Breadloaf.
Still trying to find some foam... but it's a vintage breadloaf. |

Oriley's carries the foam. The wix/Oriley's part # is 24704 and is an air filter wrap of fine white foam. I cut it to fit my breadbox and it worked out
well.
It was Honda first, all through the middle, and if I have my way, till the end as well.

start with your stock jets and go up if needed..that way you don't have to clean/replace plugs to get it to the right color..if you start out too large a
jet..it's a bitch..(plug wise)..

To play devil's advocate (no disrespect intended).....
Overheating the engine and oil running too lean could be more of a bitch than just replacing a handful of $1.50 plugs. Too hot and the lighter weight oil can actually burn to tar. At the very least it could blue the headers if they are chrome.

you don't need to run it that long to see the mixture..i've done it both ways and prefer to go up .both of my bikes..72(drag pipes and stacks) and
78(four into two with stacks) and both run great with 115 mains...go figure..

Each bike is different, no doubt, and location may also play a part.
It takes me a good 30 minutes of riding and plug chops to figure out where the carbs are at. Not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer and I second guess myself all the time.
