Looking for a good motor SOHC 750. Already have one but I think it needs tearing down and rebuilding. So I want to keep one on the shelf so to say or to use
possibly in a second project. So if anyone can tell me where I can get a decent motor in the Eastern Iowa Northern Illinois or Southern Wisconsin area I would
greatly appreciate it.
Also anyone out there that does a decent rebuild on a motor?
Also I am looking at dressing up the motor a bit to make it more visually appealing. What parts can I use and where can I buy them?
Any ideas would be great guys. I am really trying to push this first project out fairly quick so I have something to ride this year. My Vincent is great to
ride but the old girl needs some work as she was last completely restored 25 years ago.

I have a motor that runs great that some guy was suppose to pay for and pick up Friday night. He never showed up. Let me try to get ahold of him in the next
day or two to see if he lost interest or if he still wants it. I'm up here in Green Bay. Let me know if you'ld be interested. It's in a stripped
down bike right now but I think I could hang enough parts back on [coils and carbs] so you could hear it run before buying it.

I have 3 in Clinton Iowa if you still need one, $150 - $350. Can put any one of them on the engine stand so you can hear it run first.

I think Clinton Iowa is a little closer to you than GB so you'll probably want to check into those motors first. But if they should happen to fall through
for some reason the one I have is $150.
