Dawg, thanks for the offer but I actually just today bought a 2007 Kia Spectra5. It was just too damn cheap with too good a warranty.
As for the "scam" in question it turns out he's legit. I was gonna be a dick and tell him to fuck off and stop pretending, etc, but I changed my mind and played along like I wanted it. He then sent me pics, the VIN number (which checked out for location, year, etc) and how he was gonna ship it. I had to then back out of it and feel kinda like an ass. Sure sounded like a scam, though, but even being legit I can't be waiting for a car to get here from GA being shipped by a dude in FL. |

Hey JL can you sind me this info from this guy? Was he using some SIPRNET email? Still sounds like a big scam to me, I am active duty Navy and in the IT field
and SIPRNET is for classified comm channels only so this all sounds very fishy. I know you are out of this deal right now but thois sonds to me like it could
be a big compromise of security.
And if he needs the money so bad why is he welling to take the hit for the shipping, there are tons of young sailors at that base who need cheap rides who could pay the asking price and pick it up at no charge to him. "Done? Yeah it's
done!"
