im looking to get a basic frame that i can use all of my running gear from the honda on.
design-cycle seems to be active here, how about the guys at cyclexchange? they havent got back to me yet, but i hear that their frames are good, not to mention $250 cheaper... |

You probably need to give Ken a call, he's not much of an email kind of guy.
I recomend Red and Kate at Design, course i'm biased cause I have one of their frames |

I have one of Reds frames on my bike and another is sitting in my garage right now. Save yourself any trouble trying to decide who to go with and just call Design Cycle......

You won't go wrong with a Design Cycle frame. I've got one and I'm very happy with it. They also support this site, so suport those who support you.

Whenever I build a jap bike nowadays.. its got a Design Cycle frame... The best looking one for the money... Built by people that do this all day long... They are bonded and supply a legimate MSO with all frames...

I plan on getting a frame from Ken this fall he has allways used me good and is very helpfull. The craftsmanship and welds on his frames are great.

One other thing to bear in mind is that its like the difference between a set menu and a buffet. Cycle Exchange has a few frame designs, if one of them fits your build then great. With Design Cycle you can have the frame made to the specs you want. So, ultimately it depends on what you wanna build...

Well I'm still sorta new here. But I have a design cycle frame and fricking love it!!!!!!!!!!! I want my next project an xs650 yammy motor to sit in one of their frames this time next year. Nothing agains xchange cycle just haven't seen one of them in person yet. But I know the frame I have was worth every penny if you ask me.(and just a side note, the way design cycle finishes off the framing on the rear axle plates bringing it to a point. Looks way cool and sturdier I think)

i bought a pro-boxer from ken at cyclexchange and he's been great to work with. in the few times we've spoken, he's been honest, accomodating, and knowledgeable.
this is my first go at a build, so having an off-the-shelf frame without any design input needed from me was actually a good thing. maybe on my next one i'll have a stronger opinion on geometry specifics and might go with design cycle. we'll see. i'm still in the early stages of my project, but i really like how things look so far: pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/ncowg/my_photos n |

I also bought a frame from design cycle and did'nt have any problems at all.Kate was very helpful with any questions that I asked.

It's simple then. Share your wealth! Have Ken rebuild your motor (it will be fricken fast!) and have Kate make you a one-off frame! Now I have made the decisions for you.

I donno about the Design Cycle, I think they're trying to copy Cycle One all the way!!
 I stuff 250hp+ through my Cycle One,, lets see Design Cycle match that!

 i got one of kens frames..the standard
boxer..and its nice.Ken does bend over backwards for customers..hes helped me out more then a few times

I also have a Design-Cycle frame and could not be happier! Red and Kate went above and beyond for me so the frame was ready when I got home from overseas. That
is the kind of service that money cannot buy. Support those who support us!!!

wow this is one back and forth commercial for design cycle and cycle xchange! all i can say is you get what you pay for and if u feel like it's too good to
be true, it probably is. go with yer gut.
