I LOVE MY CHOP. I guess I'm a puss tho cause I still prefer a non-rigid bike for real long distance riding. I like having a bigger bike I can "pack up" to road trip on. YES YES YES - you can pack up a chop and drive anywhere too - please don't hammer me on that point. I am gonna get a bigger solo seat for the chop and the funky bags on the GW I'm getting I'm going to try to de-uglyfie and set up for the chop. I'll be running the wing "naked" as I'm not a fan of fairings and trailers and the spare bedroom on the back of the bike type bikes. Nothing wrong with them - just not my cup of joe.
So - once again I have come down with MBS (multiple bike syndrome) and will be the proud owner of a 1978 GL1000. I found the Naked Goldwings forum and they're as nice as everyone here.
