John, also please note that the rim in your photo is drilled for a smallish hub. You'll need to decide what diameter of hub you're going to use on the
rear unless you're going to fit the existing H-D hub and rotor.
For a particular cafe project, I managed to find a wide aftermarket DID 18" rear and matching front laced to a Kawasaki drum rear and disk front but it took me forever and cost way more than I wanted to spend! So, although they're rare, they're out there but it takes time to find them. RR
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room!

I thought you could re-drill a rim for different hubs (up to a certain point)?
Actually I'm thinking of lacing a front CB750 hub to the rear and using one rotor and one sprocket w/adapter. |

John, you should be okay with the front hub on the rear with an aluminum spacer/adapter. I've got one on the rear of an ex drag bike. No more cush drive,
of course... RR

What will I honestly lose without the cush drive? I'm not gonna be hammering this thing at every light (maybe occasionally though). Will I really notice
the lack of a cush drive in street use as long as my clutch is good?

I might have a 21 non shouldered rim around here somewhere.... lemmie see if I can find it and get a pic for you.

John, the jury is still out on the cush drive issue. Everyone has an opinion... I really think it comes down to how abusive you are on drive trains. RR

Well, I worked out a decent deal with that seller for the pair of those rims. They're both gonna be laced to bead-blasted front hubs, twin disc front and
single disc rear, with nice SS buchanans. Funny thing is, a good set of laced wheels costs double what a good set of invaders cost. And I used to think
"who pays that much for wheels"...
