Well Andrew, TJ and I are making progress on our chobber. Paint is almost done, just gotta get some clear on it this coming week. For paint, we used
Rustoleum Hammered paint, kind of has the texture of truck bedliner but with color... we ended up using copper and black for the frame/tank/fenders. We found
a catalyzed clear that will work with the hammered finish, we ran some samples to test it just to be sure and it worked well, no lifting and good adhesion. On
the motor, the jugs are high heat black and the cases are hammered silver. Oh and the header wrap is done too.
